Undergraduate Degree

Transfer Admission Criteria

A maximum of 72 hours of transfer credit from 2-year colleges and a maximum of 90 hours of transfer credit from all schools combined.

UCCS also offers four options for obtaining credit by exam (AP, IB, CLEP, DANTES).

Business

  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0, or better, including all remedial and repeated courses.
  • GPA of 2.0 or better may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Criminal Justice

  • Cumulative GPA of 2.4, or better, including all remedial and repeated courses.
  • GPA of 2.0 or better may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Health Care Sciences

  • Cumulative GPA of 2.5, or better, including all remedial and repeated courses.

Nursing

  • Cumulative GPA of 2.5 and additional consideration statement.
  • GPA of 2.0 or better may be considered for admission to the College of Letters, Arts & Sciences (LAS) until they meet the Helen and Arthur E. Johnson Beth El College of Nursing and Health Sciences grade, course, and GPA requirements. At that time they may pursue admission to the Helen and Arthur E. Johnson Beth El College of Nursing and Health Sciences.

Sociology

  • Cumulative GPA of 2.4, or better, including all remedial and repeated courses.
  • GPA of 2.0 or better may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Your transcripts will be reviewed within (5) business days to determine how the credits may apply toward a UCCS online degree program.
